IMPACT (Internet Mobile ConTent) focuses on supporting SMEs and web entrepreneurs interested in developing mobile Internet applications based on the FIWARE Technology and enablers by providing grant funding and a six month acceleration program.
The Call is open to SMEs participating on their own or web entrepreneurs working in teams of at least two members legally established in EU-28 countries of FP7 Associated countries.
While IMPACT promotes the use of all FIWARE enablers, the following enablers have been prioritised for the first Call: Data and Content Management, Cloud Hosting, Applications Ecosystems and Delivery Frameworks, Internet of Things Services Enablement and Security.

The online application comprises of administrative data and the project proposal divided into six sections: Market opportunity, Technology, Competition/Differentiation; Commercial Strategy and Scalability; Financials and Metrics; and Team. All proposals must be submitted online in English. Projects will run for a six month period.
The evaluation process will be undertaken in three phases:
Selected SMEs will receive a grant of up to €90,000 based on achieving specific deliverables and €10,000 in Service Vouchers for a 6 month training and mentoring program.
Across the entire programme (2 years), IMPACT has a budget of €6.4 million to be allocated in grants via open calls to around 64 European SMEs working in the areas of Mobile Internet (mobile applications or business models based on mobility in the communications areas, social, video, media and adverstising; design, education, entertainment, ecommerce, peripheral devices, content, connected TV, infrastructure, security, productivity, finance, smart cities and social networks).
